This thread design is recommended for patients who are over 40 years old. The skin and tissue of patients in this age group begin showing signs of sagging (nasolabial folds and/or visible marionette lines, visible “V” shape deficit, etc.). Therefore, it is necessary to achieve a tightening effect from deep-plane tissue areas (temple, scalp, acromion, TFL or tensor fascia latae, etc.) towards areas with signs of sagging.
Adequate therapeutic management would include the application of monofilament threads during the medical procedure itself, or as a preliminary treatment during a prior visit, in order to synthesise collagen and compress the treated tissue.
